As some of you well know, I am dipping my toes in cosplay. I have made some cosplay outfits for clients before but I have always been given either specific instructions to change parts or creative lisence to change or add anything I wanted. I am now making a costume 95% accurate for myself and it's proving to be interesting. It is just as fun to make, I am just finding spots where I would change bits to suit my personal tastes and it is difficult to decide whether to make it accurate and take the risk of not wanting to wear each element separately afterwards or make it the way I like it and have it not accurate enough for recognition. Wow... so turns out I really suck at updating my journal here. But I guess I have a kind of decent excuse... I had a baby girl just before Halloween. That and what felt like a million orders before and after. It was really only like 25 orders but when you're in your last trimester and postpartum anything feels like it's bigger than it is. Well since my last journal post I have made many corsets, bridal pieces, shoulder bags, baby diaper bags, baby blankets, toddler quilts, baby quilts, dresses, accessories, and a few alterations. Hey, I contacted you a while ago about corsets. I'm still interested, but I might be awhile before I actually want to buy one again. Probably after I graduate from university. I'd ask you if you still live in the same area that you did when I contacted you but I don't think you want your personal info out in the open on here... haha. XD How's it going?
Also, I just noticed that you have Sailor Moon on your favourite shows XD That's funny because I felt nostalgic and decided to start watching it again, only in Japanese (after I finally finished watching the seasons in English - the last one isn't dubbed over though).
